We all feel it from time to time… the downsizing of our clothing budget. When funds start coming in at a slower rate, one of the first things we need to put a stop to is spending so much money on clothes. But then again, clothes do not last forever… and if you want to stay fashionable and up -to-date, then some money is going to have to go to your wardrobe.
There are ways, however, to fudge this clothing cost deficit. Since you need new clothes, but are lacking the funds it takes to outfit in brand new designer stuff, than fear not… because there is a low budget answer to even the most complex of clothing/money problems.
There are a lot of places where you can buy designer, or at least fashionable clothes, for a fraction of what it costs to buy them new. For one, you could shop at a used clothing store. Some used clothing stores really don’t pay much attention to fashion, so you might have to do some digging to find the clothes that you want.
Some of these stores, however, are more focused on bringing fashionable clothes than others. In fact, you can actually bring your old clothes in (if they are still fashionable, of course) and sell them or trade them in. This is how places like this obtain fashionable clothes at a good price, and the best thing is that the clothes you buy are already broken in! Gently-used clothing stores are definitely one place where you can save money on brand -name wear.
You can also shop Online. Places like Ebay often sell used clothing for cheaper than you can buy it in other places. This can cut down on your shopping bills tremendously, helping you to fork more money over for things like the electric bill or the rent.
